Mr. Keith Troxell is a tax attorney specializing in business planning, tax planning, and business succession.  Mr. Troxell will discuss selecting the business entity that will best address your particular needs.  He will review and compare the legal, tax and business aspects of the basic forms of business organizations, including sole proprietorships, C and S corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies (LLC's), detailing the advantages and disadvantages of each type of entity.  Highlights will include:

Mr. Jonathan Lang is an Executive Associate of the Institute for Independent Business and a small business advisor with extensive experience in selling both products and services to the federal government. Mr. Lang will focus on selling to the U.S. government:

Ms. Patricia Peacock, Ed.D, serves as Business Counselor at the GMU Mason Enterprise Center, staff resource for the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) located there, and Director of the South Fairfax SBDC.  Ms. Peacock will offer an in-depth view of Virginia’s electronic purchasing system (eVA) and how to succeed in selling to the Commonwealth.  Ms. Tina Borger is a Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) and, in her capacity as Division Manager and Purchasing Agent for Loudoun County, heads its procurement process.  By explaining this process, she will widen your opportunity to sell to the County.
